Siemens Sinamics Drives

Siemens went modular with Sinamics, so a G120 is really a power module plus a control unit, and getting the right pair matters. We source the current G120 and V20, and the Micromaster drives they replaced. Send the order numbers off both parts and we will match them.

Obsolete and legacy Siemens drives

The Micromaster line (MM420, MM430, MM440) and the older Sinamics G110 are discontinued. They still run plenty of conveyors and pumps, so we source them surplus and cross-reference to the G120 when it is time to upgrade. On a G120, the power module and control unit have to match. Send both numbers and we will confirm the pair.

How we quote it

Send the order number off the nameplate, or both the power module and control unit numbers on a G120. If the tag is gone, the motor horsepower and voltage gets us close. Then we quote price, condition, and lead time.

Do you sell new Siemens Sinamics drives?
We source them new-surplus and to order. We are an independent sourcing company, not an authorized Siemens distributor, and condition is disclosed before sale.
What is the difference between a power module and a control unit?
A Sinamics G120 is built from a power module that handles the motor and a control unit that runs it. Both have to match for the drive to work, so send both order numbers.
What replaces a Micromaster MM440?
The Sinamics G120 is the current drive in that range. We can quote a new-surplus G120 or source an original Micromaster.
What do you need to quote one?
