How do you specify a breaker?

  • Frame and type (MCCB, power/air, vacuum, MCP)
  • Ampere rating and trip setting
  • Poles and voltage
  • Interrupting rating (AIC / kAIC)
  • Trip unit, rating plug, and accessories
  • Mounting (plug-in, bolt-on, or drawout)

How do we quote a breaker?

  1. Send the breaker catalog number, or the frame, amp rating, poles, and voltage.
  2. We confirm the trip unit, interrupting rating (AIC), and accessories.
  3. We quote condition, price, and lead time: new, surplus, or used-tested, timing confirmed with the request.
  4. Need a custom enclosure, panel, or mounting? Our fabrication side builds and modifies enclosures and panels to fit.

We supply circuit breakers new, surplus, and used-tested, with condition disclosed before sale and photos on request. We are an independent surplus and sourcing company, not an authorized distributor.

FAQ

Do you carry obsolete breaker frames?
Yes. Discontinued and obsolete frames are a core part of what we source, through surplus stock and cross-referenced equivalents. Condition is disclosed before sale.
Can you cross-reference a breaker to a replacement?
Yes. Send the part number and we cross-reference it to an available equivalent where one exists. Cross-references are a starting point, so verify against the nameplate and the interrupting rating before you install.
Do you supply trip units and breaker parts?
Yes. We source trip units, rating plugs, and accessories along with complete breakers.
Are you an authorized distributor?
No. Edmundson Industrial is an independent surplus and sourcing company, not an authorized distributor. We supply breakers new, surplus, and used-tested with condition disclosed before sale.
