Edmundson Industrial sources motor starters across NEMA (sizes 00 through 9) and IEC ratings: full-voltage non-reversing (FVNR), reversing, two-speed, combination starters with a breaker or disconnect, and reduced-voltage soft starters. Send the catalog number, or the motor horsepower and voltage, and we quote availability, condition, and lead time.

How is a starter sized?

  • NEMA size (00, 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5…) or IEC rating to the motor HP and voltage
  • Coil voltage (24 V, 120 V, 240 V, 480 V)
  • Overload relay type and trip class
  • Reversing, two-speed, or combination as needed
  • Enclosure / NEMA type

How do we quote a motor starter?

  1. Send the catalog number, or the motor horsepower and voltage if you don't have one.
  2. We confirm NEMA / IEC size, coil voltage, overload, and reversing or combination needs.
  4. We quote condition, price, and lead time: new, surplus, or used-tested, timing confirmed with the request.
  5. Need a custom enclosure, back-panel, or mounting? Our fabrication side builds and modifies enclosures to fit.

Every motor starter is supplied new, surplus, or used-tested, with condition disclosed before sale and photos on request. We are an independent surplus and sourcing company, not an authorized distributor.

FAQ

What NEMA starter size do I need?
NEMA starter size is set by the motor horsepower and voltage: sizes run 00, 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and up. Send the motor HP and voltage, or the catalog number off the existing starter, and we match the size.
Can you build a combination starter?
Yes. We source combination starters that pair the starter with a breaker, motor circuit protector, or fusible disconnect in one enclosure, and our fabrication side can build to your layout.
Do you carry obsolete and Furnas starters?
Yes. Discontinued NEMA starters, including Furnas and Joslyn Clark, are a regular request. We source them as surplus and used-tested and cross-reference to a current equivalent where one exists.
Are you an authorized distributor?
No. Edmundson Industrial is an independent surplus and sourcing company, not an authorized distributor. We supply motor starters new, surplus, and used-tested with condition disclosed before sale.
