General Electric (GE)

Breakers, switchgear, MCC, and bus plugs — current GE through legacy and Spectra-era frames.

Edmundson Industrial sources General Electric (GE) electrical equipment, which is everywhere in older plants. We supply the breakers, switchgear, MCC, and bus plugs, including the discontinued frames that are no longer in normal distribution.

Independent sourcing, not an authorized distributor. GE is a trademark of its respective owner, used here for reference only. We supply new-surplus, used-tested, and sourced-to-order, with condition disclosed before sale.

GE Industrial Solutions was acquired by ABB in 2018; GE Spectra RMS breakers cross-reference to ABB Tmax XT. We source GE-branded gear as surplus and map it to the current equivalent.

How we quote a GE part

  1. Send the GE catalog number (breaker, switchgear, MCC, or bus plug), or the equipment nameplate.
  2. We confirm the frame/model and rating, and cross-reference legacy and Spectra frames to a current equivalent.
  3. We quote condition, price, and lead time — new-surplus, used-tested, or sourced-to-order, same-day on most requests.

Condition & sourcing

We supply GE equipment new-surplus, used-tested, and sourced-to-order, with condition disclosed before sale and photos on request. We are an independent surplus and sourcing company, not an authorized distributor.

FAQ

Do you carry obsolete GE breakers?
Yes. Discontinued GE frames, including legacy AK / AKR power breakers and Spectra-era frames, are a regular request. We source them as surplus and cross-reference. Condition is disclosed before sale.
Is GE the same as ABB now?
GE's Industrial Solutions business, including its breakers, was acquired by ABB in 2018. GE-branded gear remains in service everywhere; we source it and cross-reference Spectra-era breakers to the ABB Tmax XT equivalents.
Can you cross-reference a GE part?
Yes. Send the part number and we cross-reference it to an available equivalent where one exists. Verify against the nameplate before installing.
Are you an authorized GE distributor?
No. Edmundson Industrial is an independent surplus and sourcing company, not an authorized distributor. We supply new-surplus, used-tested, and sourced-to-order with condition disclosed before sale.
