Ross Hill Model 1400 SCR bays are force-cooled. This assembly is the blower that moves that air through the bay and across the modules — a 2 HP, 600 V 3-phase motor driving a fan, mounted to the equipment.
It is easy to treat cooling as ancillary. It is not. A thyristor stack running without airflow will overheat, and the damage lands on the SCR bridge and phase cells rather than on the blower. The blower is the cheap part protecting the expensive ones.

Ross Hill built more than one SCR platform, and parts do not automatically cross between them. The phase cells are a documented example: Model 1400 and Model 1500 cells are explicitly not interchangeable. We have not verified whether cooling assemblies cross over, so we will not tell you that they do.
Establish which model you are working on before ordering anything, and send us the number off the assembly rather than the number from a general parts list.
