The number is the whole throttle, and that is the point
| Number | Description in the assembly table | What you receive |
|---|---|---|
| 0001-1467-38 | Assembly reference, drawing 11467-38 Rev. H | The complete throttle. This page. |
| 0001-1467-37 | ENCL-FOOT THTL | The enclosure only |
| 0001-1467-36 | PEDAL-FOOT THROTTLE | The pedal only |
| 0001-1467-22 | PLATE-INSP,FOOT PEDAL | The inspection plate only |
We are not publishing these three as items that can be bought today. They are published because they are the numbers most likely to be ordered by mistake when the whole assembly was intended, and because a buyer who only needs a pedal should know a pedal has its own number.
What is inside it
A foot throttle is a mechanical assembly with one electrical element in it, and most of the ways it fails are mechanical. The manufacturer table runs to more than forty line items. A representative selection is below, reproduced for identification.
| Item | Qty | Number | Description as printed |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 1 | 0001-1467-37 | ENCL-FOOT THTL |
| 2 | 1 | 0001-1467-36 | PEDAL-FOOT THROTTLE |
| 4 | 1 | 1704-1130-01 | ACTUATOR-BAR ASSY |
| 8 | 1 | 1704-1130-06 | CONNECTING ROD |
| 12 | 1 | 1704-1130-10 | DAMPER-NEOPRENE & STL WASHERS |
| 15 | 2 | 1704-2159-01 | SPRING-TORSION |
| 30 | 1 | 0506-0003-00 | RHEOSTAT- 200 OHM,90 DEG |
| 32 | 2 | 0000-6817-99 | BEARING-0.75" BORE |
| 47 | 2 | 1704-1130-15 | SHIELD FLINGER |
| 50 | 1 | 0601-4238-01 | N/P-ID,CONSOLE,MDL 201 |
Two torsion springs, a damper, a connecting rod, bearings and flinger shields do the work of returning the pedal and keeping the linkage clean. One rheostat turns the pedal position into a setpoint the drive can use. If a throttle has gone heavy, sticky, or will not return, the fault is more likely to be in the first group than the second, and that is worth establishing before a whole assembly is ordered.

The drawing number and the part number are not the same string
The manufacturer table is referenced to 11467-38 Rev. H. The part number is 0001-1467-38. They differ by the leading 0001 group. That is an observation about these two documents, not a numbering rule we are publishing for the rest of the catalogue, and we have not tested it against other Ross Hill families.
It is worth knowing because a rig that keeps drawings rather than part lists may have the shorter form written on a tag or a drawing register. If the number you are holding is the short one, send it in that form and say where you read it. We would rather match it here than have you convert it and get the group wrong.
A foot throttle is not a hand throttle
So they are not two housings around the same electrical part. If your console has both a wheel and a pedal, they are separate items with separate numbers, and telling us which one you are replacing removes a whole class of wrong answer. We do not publish any interchange between them.
What to send with your request
This one turns on scope before anything else, so the first question is what you actually need.
- Whether you need the complete assembly or a single component such as the pedal or the enclosure
- A photograph of the enclosure nameplate and, if it is legible, the console identification plate
- Whether the complaint is mechanical (sticking, not returning, worn pivot) or electrical (no setpoint, erratic setpoint)
- Quantity required and the condition you can accept
- Your need-by date and destination
We do not need a purchase order to answer an identification question. Send the number and the photograph and we will tell you what we can establish.
