Published card maps for the Model 1400 assign designators such as PC01 to a power supply card, PC05 to sprocket slip, PC11 to generator excitation, PC13 to ground fault, and PC14 to power limit. That vocabulary is how a technician who has never opened a parts book will describe what they pulled.
