When NOV took on Ross Hill Controls and the Hill Hayes SCR line, most of the part numbering carried straight across — the Ross Hill number and the NOV number are usually the same number. This module is the one confirmed exception in our records. A unit stamped 6415-2400-21 and a unit stamped 0522-2400-21 refer to the same item in our cross-reference.
That matters commercially, because a buyer holding one number will often be told the part does not exist by a supplier who only indexes the other. If you have been quoted 'no longer available' against one of these numbers, it is worth trying the other.
The DC control modules are the regulation side of a Ross Hill SCR drive. The AC module handles gate firing, drive assignment, and protection; the DC module closes the current and speed loop that gives stepless control of the DC drilling motors. They work as a matched pair, and a fault in one is regularly misattributed to the other.
Several dash variants exist. They are not documented as interchangeable, and we do not treat them as such.
