Refineries and chemical plants do not run on new equipment. They run on lineups that were installed decades ago, maintained well, and kept in service long after the catalog moved on. That works right up until something fails and the replacement has been out of production for fifteen years.
Planned work is not where this gets difficult. The difficulty is scope growth — the lineup comes open, somebody finds a bucket that has been cooking for years, and now a part nobody budgeted for is standing between you and start-up. The planning package does not cover it, the OEM does not build it, and the clock is already running.
That is a sourcing problem, not a distribution problem. It is what we do.

A unit down outside a planned window is not a maintenance issue, it is a production issue that reaches the daily report. During a turnaround it is worse in a different way — every day the start-up slips, the entire contractor spread is standing by, and the cost of that has nothing to do with the price of the part you are waiting on.
We will not invent a dollar figure for your unit. You have that number and we do not. What we will do is give you a real answer fast, including the answer where we cannot help.
We supply equipment. We do not perform field service, commissioning, testing, or installation, and we do not certify equipment for hazardous-area service. Ratings are whatever the manufacturer marked on the unit, and you should verify them against your own specification. Same-day applies to stocked items; sourced items get a real lead time, not an optimistic one.
